The Port Hope Area Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible. Its goal is to tell the stories of the upper Thumb from the lumbering era forward.
The society’s ongoing project is the restoration of the former Brinker Lumberyard into a history hub, containing a museum of regional historic artifacts, as well as the Gladys and RB Hunter Genealogical Center, meeting space and display space.
All labor is volunteer. Your donation will go to needed materials and supplies to restore and maintain this museum space.
Sorry: The society cannot accept online donations at this time.
